At Pimco, your privacy isn't just a policyâit's a principle. We've built this detective quest
to respect your space while delivering an immersive AI-powered experience. Here's exactly what
we do, what we don't do, and why it matters.
What We Collect (And Why It's Minimal)
We don't collect personal data. No names, no emails tied to your gameplay,
no location tracking beyond what's needed for the app to function. Here's what we do work with:
-
Unique Device Identifier: A single, anonymous ID used exclusively for
push notifications and analytics. Think of it as your detective badge numberâit helps us
deliver updates and understand how the app performs, but it doesn't reveal who you are.
-
Usage Patterns: Through Singular, we track aggregate data like session
length, feature usage, and crash reports. This helps us refine the experience without
ever knowing your identity.
How Your Data Moves (Spoiler: It Doesn't Leave Your Device Much)
When you interrogate a suspect or analyze a clue, your messages are processed by our AI
systems to generate responsive narratives. These interactions are:
- Processed in real-time for gameplay purposes
- Never shared with other users or third parties for marketing
- Stored temporarily to maintain conversation context within your active case
- Not used to train external AI models without explicit aggregation and anonymization
You own your investigations. The stories you create through your choices
remain yours. We don't sell your case files, your questions, or your deductions to anyone.
Third-Party Tools We Trust
To keep Pimco running smoothly, we partner with carefully selected services:
-
Singular: Provides analytics to help us understand app performance and
user engagement. Data shared is anonymized and used solely for improvement purposes.
-
OneSignal: Powers push notifications so you can receive updates about
new cases or story developments. You control whether these are enabled, and we only use
your device IDânever personal details.
-
AI Text Generation Services: Your in-game messages are sent to our AI
partners to generate case responses. These services process data under strict privacy
agreements and don't retain your conversations for their own use.
What We Don't Do
This is where most apps bury the truth. We'll say it clearly:
- We don't sell your data. Period.
- We don't track you across other apps or websites.
- We don't require you to create an account with personal information.
-
We don't enable user-to-user data sharing. Your investigations are
solo missions unless you choose to share screenshots or outcomes outside the app.
-
We don't use facial recognition, voice prints, or biometric data.
Your device ID is as specific as we get.
Your Control, Your Choices
You can manage your data footprint at any time:
-
Push Notifications: Opt in or out through your device settings.
Disabling them won't affect gameplayâjust means you won't get alerts about new content.
-
Data Deletion: Want to wipe your case history? Uninstalling the app
removes local data immediately. For any server-side traces (like your anonymous device ID),
contact us at mail@clover-life-properties.com, and we'll handle it within 30 days.
-
Analytics Opt-Out: While we don't offer in-app analytics toggles
(since the data is already anonymized), you can use device-level privacy settings to
limit tracking across Android.
Children's Privacy
Pimco is designed for users aged 12 and up due to the mature themes in some cases
(murder mysteries, psychological thrillers, etc.). We don't knowingly collect data from
children under 13. If you're a parent and believe your child has used the app, reach out
to us, and we'll delete any associated data.
Security Measures
We use industry-standard encryption to protect data in transit. Your device ID and usage
data are stored securely, and access is limited to essential personnel. That said, no system
is 100% bulletproofâif we ever detect a breach, we'll notify affected users immediately.
Changes to This Policy
We'll update this document as Pimco evolves (new features, new partners, etc.). When changes
happen, we'll post the revised policy here and update the "Last Updated" date at the top.
Major changes will be communicated via in-app notifications or email (if you've opted in).
Questions? Let's Talk
Privacy shouldn't be a mystery. If you have questions, concerns, or just want to discuss
how we handle data, contact us:
We built Pimco to be the kind of app we'd want to useâone that respects your intelligence,
your agency, and your right to privacy. If this policy falls short of that standard, tell us.
We're listening.
